What Was Changed

  • English voice lines: over 5,500 voice clips muted at word-level precision across story dialogue, cutscene barks, and combat barks — the flagged word is silenced while the rest of the spoken line plays normally.
  • On-screen English text: 5,576 censors across 5,266 dialogue, subtitle, and journal entries in the game's localization table — each flagged word is replaced in place with same-length asterisks, so sentence structure and punctuation are unchanged.
  • Context-aware preservation: D&D setting nouns such as the Nine Hells, Hells of Baator, and deity titles like god of murder play un-censored in both text and voice — only expletive uses of the same words are changed.

What Was NOT Changed

The story, voice performances, music, cutscenes, and gameplay are exactly as Larian shipped them — only the flagged English words change. Non-English text and audio are left alone, no DLLs or Script Extender are touched, and saves remain compatible (no save-format changes).
